Meet the 19th Hole Team...

Paul Paul Gould born Oct 1967. Current car captain, which may change if I loose the next "rock paper scissors" I am a non-smoking coffee drinker (except I like a pale ale on the Bash). My job is an Emergency Nurse currently working at the PA Hospital half time and the other half coordinating aeromedical assets around Queensland for Retrieval Services Queensland.I have done 10 years with the Army Reserve which included many large exercises plus one overseas deployment performing aeromedical retrievals with a Blackhawk Squadron. I am also married with 3 young daughters. My goal in life is for me to meet all my daughters suitors standing next to my motorbike naked, except for a leather jacket and a shotgun.

Brett Gould born July 1969. Love my golf and am a member at Oxley Golf Club with a current handicap of 14 ...... trying to get to 10 by the end of the year. I'm employed at Swagelok Eastern Australia as Sales Manager for Queensland and PNG where I have worked for 12 years this year. In my glory days rugby league was my life now I have 2 young daughters and a wife that keep me busy. The Variety Bash was on my bucket list and I'm lucky enough now to be heading off on my 3rd trip. The people, places and faces make this event a must do every year and I will never forget the smiles on the kids faces as Variety helps out in their lives. Brett

Brad The Variety bash is something I have looked forward to every year since we started 3 years ago with a borrowed car. Now we have our own car and are constantly working on improving it. I miss the family when I go away (I have a wife and 2 daughters) but really enjoy the time spent with my brothers and the people (both veterans and virgin bashers) we meet. What started out as a way to spend time with my brothers has turned into a major event on the calendar with a chance to get on the road with some familiar faces and raise money for disadvantaged children. You can't help but think about just how lucky you are to be a part of it.
